Few people have the luxury of a large bathroom so you need to plan carefully to make the best use of space. You can also add storage solutions to help keep it clutter free. A beautiful bathroom will impress your visitors and help you soak the day's cares away. It could even add value to your home.
We've got everything you need to create a beautiful bathroom. From a fantastic range of suites to the tiles, paint, flooring and accessories that finish the job. If you know what you want, it's easy to order online.
If choosing, planning and buying your bathroom seems a daunting task, our Design Consultants are here to help you get it right. Book an appointment with the consultant at your nearest store and they'll give you free design and advice to help you make the most of your space. You can talk through options and styles and your consultant will help you price your bathroom too. Then you can either order it online or in store.
It will help your Design Consultant if you can do some planning before you come to your appointment. There are three main things you need to think about:
Measure your bathroom
We'll need to know the length, width and height of your bathroom. Write down these measurements in metres and centimetres as accurately as you can.
It would also be useful for you to draw a rough plan of your bathroom to show where the windows and doors are. Mark on any other 'fixed' items such as radiators or shaver points, as well as the position of your current suite.
Choose styles and items you like
your consultant will take you through your design options - from traditional to ultra-modern. But you can also get an idea of the suites, showers, taps and accessories you like by looking at the bathrooms on this website or ordering a brochure. Some of our suites are also on display in store.
Remember, if you're replacing your bathroom you don't necessarily have to put back what you've taken out. Your Design Consultant can help you decide whether there could be a better layout for your room. But it's worth talking to a plumber first to see what is and isn't feasible. In the meantime, here are some other things you might like to consider:
Have a budget in mind
Modern bathrooms have come a long way. We've got great suites, bathroom furniture and finishes to choose from. But take care not to run away with your budget. Tell your Design Consultant how much you can afford to spend and they can help you achieve the look you want without breaking the bank.
Want to try out your own bathroom plan? Then the following ideas might help you get started. Once you have a rough plan, your Design Consultant can help you fine tune it.
If you're thinking of re-arranging your bathroom suite, don't forget to consider how much 'standing room' you have around each item. You will need space to dry off after a bath or shower or when using the basin or WC. If everything is packed too closely together the room will be difficult to use.
