Design

What do I need to bring to my appointment with the Design Consultant?

Before your consultation it would be helpful if you could measure your current bathroom and also draw a rough plan to show where the windows and doors are. Mark on any other 'fixed' items such as radiators or shaver points, as well as the position of your current suite.

Speak to a plumber first if you intend to move your suite around, especially the WC.

You should also bring along any ideas you have - such as colours you like or designs in magazines etc. This will help your Design Consultant to get a feel for what you are trying to achieve in your new bathroom.

How will I know what my new bathroom will look like?

Using Computer Aided Design our Design Consultants will create a realistic 3D drawing of how your dream bathroom will look in your home.

Does Wickes offer technical advice to help me plan my new bathroom?

Yes, simply book an appointment online, or at your nearest store, with one of our highly trained Design Consultants. They will give you FREE and expert advice to help you design, plan and purchase your bathroom. They will also draw up a detailed 3D plan so you can see exactly how your new bathroom will look. Use the Store Locator to find your nearest Wickes store.

How much does it cost to get help with planning my bathroom at Wickes?

Nothing. It is a FREE service with no obligation to buy.

Can I arrange for a Design Consultant to visit my home via the Wickes website?

No. But when you book an appointment online, one of the team in your nearest store will call to discuss your initial requirements and book a convenient time for you to meet your Design Consultant in store. Then they can decide on the need for a home visit and make an appointment with you at that time.

What if I don't feel confident, measuring the room myself?

We only need approximate measurements for your bathroom at first. One of our Design Consultants will be more than happy to visit your home to take accurate measurements later.

Ordering / Payment

Do Wickes' prices include VAT?

Yes, all our prices include VAT at the standard rate.

Are Finance options available?

Yes. We always have flexible payment options available. Please contact your local store for more information.

Can I find out when the current promotion ends?

How can I pay for for products i wish to purchase through the site?

We accept MasterCard, Visa Electron and Visa credit cards and Maestro and Solo debit cards for orders made on this site. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club credit cards. Wickes Gift Tokens cannot be used to pay for orders through the website.

Can I use the website to reserve products for collection or check availability of stock at my local Wickes store?

Unfortunately we do not currently offer either of these services.

What if I have forgotten to order something for my bathroom?

If you have any queries simply call your Design Consultant who will be able to check your design against the delivered checklist. If anything’s missing he will happily ensure the relevant items are ordered and delivered to you as quickly as possible.

Does my bathroom come with any guarantees?

All our bathroom pottery comes with a twenty-five year guarantee*, with up to ten year's guarantee* on all bathroom taps.

I like the tiles/flooring featured in one of your bathrooms - how can I purchase them?

If you visit our website at wickes.co.uk you will find a wide range of tiles and flooring which you can purchase using the online shopping basket. Alternatively, use our Store Locator to find your local Wickes store where the items featured in our bathroom should be in stock and available to purchase immediately.

Registering
Why do you need to register?

You need to register if you decide to request a brochure or make a purchase through the website. Registration is free, as are brochure requests. You do not need to enter your credit/debit card details to register. Your credit card details will only be required when you are placing an order. You do not need to register to browse the Wickes website.

How do I register?

To register, you will be asked to enter your name, address and a few other personal details. You only need to enter your full details when you are registering. Completing the registration process only takes a few minutes and creates your personal account. Once you have registered, you can use your e-mail address to identify yourself to the site, or 'log in'. When you return to the website, you can enter your e-mail address to access your user details. You will not be able to order additional brochures or make any further purchases without first logging in to the website. Any personal information or account details you give us will be securely protected. Please see our Security page for full details on how the Wickes site secures your personal data.

Can I sign up to receive details of upcoming Wickes promotions?

When you register, you can choose to either receive Wickes promotional literature via e-mail or regular post.

Do I need to register to place an order?

Yes, you must register before you can place an order through the WickesBathrooms website.

How do I place and order?

Placing an order involves adding a selected product to your virtual 'shopping basket' and going through the checkout process. The checkout is where you will enter your delivery and billing addresses and credit card details. Please see below for additional details about ordering products through the WickesBathrooms website.

How do I locate the products I need?

Products on the WickesBathrooms website are arranged by category. Individual items can be located on the site in one of two ways. To find products, users can navigate to the correct page using the menu located on the left-hand side of all pages. Alternatively, users can enter keywords in the search field and press 'Enter' to have all matching or similarly-spelt products listed

What is my 'virtual shopping basket' and how do I put products in it?

The virtual shopping basket is where products are placed after clicking the 'Add To Basket' button, located next to all available products. Adding products to your shopping basket does not mean you have purchased them, nor are you under any obligation to purchase those products. At any time you may check your virtual shopping basket by clicking the 'View Basket' button, located in the top right-hand corner of any page. While viewing your shopping basket you may add or delete items as you wish. After viewing your basket, you may return to the products section by clicking the 'Continue Shopping' button.

How do I purchase products?

Having selected the products you wish to purchase, click the 'View basket' button in the top right-hand corner of the page. Once you have finished adding or subtracting products from your basket, you may proceed to the first step of the payment process by clicking the red 'Checkout' button.

Aftersales / Delivery

What is the delivery lead time?

Delivery is normally around 4 weeks. Orders placed through the website will enable you to select a convenient time for your delivery. WickesBathrooms recommends that you do not arrange to have tradesmen waiting to carry out work involving an anticipated delivery. WickesBathrooms cannot be held responsible for any third party costs incurred due to non-delivery of an order.

Is there a delivery charge for orders placed through the site?

Orders over £150 are delivered free, otherwise there is a packaging and handling charge of £15.

Where can Wickes deliver items?

Wickes currently deliver to locations in the mainland UK. If you are a non-mainland UK customer an additional delivery charge is applicable. Please call our distribution company on 0844 3375085 and they will assist in placing your order.

Can I set a delivery date?

Yes. Delivery dates are selected from a calendar during the checkout process. You can change your delivery date online up to 72hrs before delivery by entering your telephone number in the Delivery Tracking box in the Delivery Section of the site.

Do I have to sign for delivery?

The delivery company will require a person over the age of 18 to sign for delivered goods as proof of receipt. Although we recommend you sign for your own goods, it is not required that the signature be from the specified recipient, but it should be someone who is authorised by you to receive the goods on your behalf.

Who do I contact if something is missing?

Should something be missing upon delivery please call our customer service team on 0845 337 5085 within 72 hours.

Do you have an Installation Service?

No, however your local store can supply you with a copy of our non-recommended installers listing which features local installers who will be more than happy to install your new Bathroom.

What if my bathroom is faulty?

If goods are faulty, following confirmation by the manufacturer (this will require a telephone call or home visit by a manufacturer or registered engineer) you may return the product free of charge by calling 0845 3375085. WickesBathrooms products cannot be returned to any Wickes stores. All refunds will be made to the account used to purchase the product.

What if my bathroom is damaged?

In the unlikely event that products (including special orders and made-to-measure items) are delivered damaged, we will exchange the individual product only or provide you with a full refund. Notification of any damage must be made within three days of the product being delivered to you. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange. Please call the WickesBathrooms helpline on 0845 3375085 and we will arrange a pick up within 10 days (inc. delivery charge). Alternatively, collection of the product can be arranged through our nominated carrier, where the cost of the return will be at our expense. We require the return of the products within 30 days of the refund request being made. To arrange for the product to be collected send an e-mail to wickesbathrooms@marktwo.co.uk with your order number and the details of product to be returned. We will either dispatch a replacement or process the refund. All refunds will be made to the account used to purchase the product.

How is my information secured when using the Wickes website?

Wickes Bathrooms is administrated by Mark Two Distributors Ltd and on-line security is taken very seriously. Wickes Bathrooms do not hold any credit card details whatsoever. All banking pages are hosted by the Royal Bank of Scotland. For more details, refer to the Security page in the Customer Services section.
